Tell ya what michael, have John Mayes send the fretboard directly to Craig. I will send the headstock overlay with the outline pattern marked to Craig and when he is done he can send it all back to me and I will proceed with the neck and then give it to Hank for fretting. Sound OK? |

Double reminder. My SJ's and my molds won't werk here. I'll need a plan which you may have sent Friday? Micheal? Second, Woolson was asking for help in the mold category... anyone with an OLF SJ mold near Wisconsin? |

Michael, do you have any idea what Craig will be inlaying into the peghead of this thing. Has there been a decision or are we leaving it up to Craig. The reason I ask is, I don't want the shape to interfere with the inlay design. |

My drum sander went down so I cannot bind the fretboard till I get it back up and running. That won't be for a couple weeks. |

When you get it ready ship it to Craig Lavin for position markers. He will ship it and the pehead veneer to John How. It is easer to inlay on a flat bottom boat  post pics for the build sight before you ship. Lance is hosting the page so you cand post them here and Lance can transfer them. See bruce's post below |

OLF Team Build 2 Guitar Project Case Okay guys, going over the construction list for this gift guitar, it needs a case when it leaves my place or Brock Polings for California. What are our options for putting a case around it for shipping? We just might need to special order one. I can see needing it in four weeks or less. I'm planning on getting my part done and out the door when it hits here. |

I'll get a case on hand so I can ship it to the first builder who needs it. Does this guitar fit the TKL SJ or one of the Access cases? Any other suggestions? I have the tuners & can ship to the installer when I get that address. GD |

Newberg Music Center 514 E. 1st. St. Newberg, Oregon 503-537-2196 GD Armstrong, I'm not sure. It seems that the OLF SJ is an uncommon fit. Others may chime in on what is needed here. Here is the deal. This second guitar build will reach Wisconsin this week. Depending on Paul's schedule, it should be headed my way soon. As soon as it arrives, I'll glue on the top and be ready to send the completed body to Brock for binding in Ohio. So, it makes sense to start the shipping in a regular guitar case for protection. I guess I can ship it in the box from Paul, if necessary. The mold will drop off at this point and it would fit in a guitar case. It would be a lot cheaper to ship that case to Cool California than Arkansas, Ohio, then Cool. That might be the answer for now? |

GD hold on the case. this guitar requires a custom fit and I have Lance attempting to get Cedar Creek to donat it. We figured that both the tunners and case was too much so we are checking in on differnt option. |
